The men sit and stand in an area with American flags and a long Hudson-Essex banner hung overhead. Picnic tables and food servers are in the background on the far right. The ms. note on the negative spells barbecue "barbacue".

Note in the hand of Grace (Burke) Hubble on the back lists names of the men in the group. Hubble is standing in the back row, third from the left. All of the gentlemen are wearing tuxedoes.
