- Two photograph albums chiefly containing snapshots of trips and recreational activities in Northern California around the San Francisco Bay area, particularly Marin County, and often documenting the outings of the California Camera Club, between 1917 and 1924. Views include trips to Moss Beach (June 1917), Haywards Canyon (1917), Phoenix Lake (1917), and many visits to "Binkleys, Mill Valley." Other outings include Coyote Point, San Mateo Beach, Muir Woods, Ross Valley, Tennessee Cove, Tamalpais, Sagunitas, Pirates Cove, Santa Cruz, and Greenbrae. There are many snapshots of individuals in natural scenery, as well as group portraits of the California Camera Club, occasionally showing camera equipment. The album was assembled by an unidentified club member, presumably a woman, and many of the photographs show presumed family members, in particular an older woman and young man, who appears in the second album wearing a military uniform, 1918-1919. The photographs have handwritten captions with brief notes on locations and dates. A few group portraits of the Camera Club are embossed "R.W. Diedrickson, California Camera Club."
