    A slightly elevated panoramic view of the 1925 Rose Bowl Game between Notre Dame University and Stanford University at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The stands are almost filled, and there are a couple hundred more spectators watching over the stadium fence on the far right. The game is in progress, with the two teams in the middle of a series near the goal line on the left. There are men positioned at several places along the near sideline with photographic cameras, and one man near the goal line has a motion picture camera. There is a very tall flag pole on the far right with a large American flag, as well as a speaker system and score board. A large number of automobiles are parked on the far right, beyond the open part of the stadium (which was, at the time, shaped like a horseshoe).
