    The Harold A. Parker Studio Collection of Negatives consists of 5157 glass plate negatives, film negatives, and panoramic negatives, 1889-1949, that depict commercial, residential and landscape sites in and around Pasadena and Southern California. The images provide a look at the commercial, residential and social development of Pasadena and surrounding areas during the early years of the twentieth century. The collection is especially rich in images of residential architecture in Pasadena, Altadena, and San Marino; images of Lake Tahoe; depictions of, and activities at, the Raymond, Maryland, and Huntington Hotels in Pasadena; and the commercial, social and cultural landscapes of Pasadena. The collection also provides, through its breadth and depth of subject matter, an example of the career activities of a commercial photographer in Southern California in the early years of the twentieth century.

    The B.D. Jackson Collection of Negatives and Photographs consists of 804 4 x 5 in. and 8 x 10 in. glass plate negatives, 1782 film negatives (including stereo negatives), 2302 black and white photographs (including stereos, postcards, and photograph albums), and related manuscript and ephemeral materials, 1903-1950s (bulk 1920s-1930s), that provide a visual history of the growth of many of the San Gabriel Valley's suburban communities, a survey of many of California's (and the western United States') notable landscapes, and an overview of Jackson's career as a landscape and scenic view photographer.

    Early adventures at Glen Alpine Springs 1905-1907

    Book containing copies of photographs of early 20th century camping trips to Glen Alpine Springs near Lake Tahoe, California, by Los Angeles residents Arthur Kinney (born 1870), his wife Hadassah Kinney (born 1873) and their sons Wendell Kinney (born 1897) and Roland Kinney. The images depict the family and friends standing before mountains, lakes, and trees, engaged in recreational activities. The photographs in the book were taken by Arthur Kinney and produced from the original 4 x 5 inch negatives.
