This family originally lived in the tent shown on the right, and gradually picked up enough sheet metal to construct the fairly well constructed house now attached to it. One large family occupied this place.

3700 block Bandini Road. -This 3 sided shed was occupied by men who worked on an adjacent dump. The extreme left shows entrance to bedroom in rear which consisted merely of a shelf covered with bed-clothes and rags.
