    One wooden peg board entitled Mrs. B.W. Putnam’s Busy Work Tiles, For the Kindergarten, the Primary School, and the Home, No. 1, manufactured by the Milton Bradley Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1885. The peg board contains 100 small holes, arranged in 10 even rows of 10 holes each. A paper label, listing the title and manufacturer's name, is mounted to the underside of the board. The peg board was (presumably) used with small wooden pegs such as Hammett's Kindergarten Material - No. 475 (Box 80, Set 1).

    One set of wood blocks entitled Bradley's Kindergarten Material, No. 4, Fourth Gift, manufactured by Milton Bradley & Co., Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1900. The set is comprised of 8 wooden 1-inch cube blocks, housed inside a wooden box with a sliding lid. A paper label is mounted to the front side of the box; the label bears the title and manufacturer's name. The cubes were used as models for drawing, and were also used in counting and auditory exercises.

    One set of wooden blocks entitled Bradley's Kindergarten Material, No. 3, Third Gift, manufactured by the Milton Bradley Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1900. The set is comprised of 8 rectangular blocks, each measuring 2" x 1" x 1/2" (5 cm x 2.5cm x 1.3cm). The blocks are housed within a wooden box with a sliding lid; a paper label bearing the title and manufacturer's information is mounted to the front side.

    One carving tool manufactured by J.L. Hammett Co., ca. 1935? The tool is comprised of a rounded wooden handle with one flat side and a 2 1/4 inch grooved metal bit. "Hammett" is stamped into the end of the handle. Title supplied by cataloger.

    One set of wooden blocks entitled Bradley’s Kindergarten Material, No. 5, Fifth Gift, manufactured by the Milton Bradley Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, ca. 1900. The set is comprised of 11 square cubes, 6 large triangle forms (which, together, form three cubes divided diagonally), and 12 small triangular forms (which, together, form three cubes divided into quarters diagonally). One quarter triangle appears to be missing. Each of the whole cubes measures 1 inch (in height, width and depth). In addition, thirteen of the square blocks have numbers penciled on one side. The set is housed within a wooden box with a sliding lid and a paper label mounted to the front side. One use of these blocks was as drawing models.

    One boxed dye set entitled Prang Stick Printing Dyes: Box No. 1, manufactured by The Prang Company, New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta ,and Dallas, ca. 1910. As stated on the box lid, the set is comprised of "3 color caps (12 pads); 1 water cap (4 pads); 6 printing sticks." Five of the printing sticks remain; some of the color caps have been used. All four "tins" of color and water caps have been used, as have the sticks. The directions for use are printed on the lid.
