- Prints, advertising; Image of a male worker shoveling coal into a fire with the figure of Uncle Sam grasping his arm to urge him to refrain from shoveling in that "extra shovelful" of coal; figures are in darkness silhouetted by the glow of the flames; the poster promotes the United States Fuel Administration coal conservation campaign of 1918 and serves as a guide to electric railway employees for ways to conserve coal in order to help the cause during World War I.
