Description: Bound in textured black material. The title "South America" is embossed in the center of cover in gold lettering. The number "68" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Images are primarily postcards and souvenir photographs from Ecuador where the London's stopped for month on the voyage home from Australia. Includes photos of a train wreck on the Guayaquil and Quito Railway and bullfights at the Plaza de Toros.

Provenance: The nucleus of the collection was purchased by Henry Huntington from Charmian London in 1925. Additional groups of material were acquired by both gift and purchase from Mrs. London and later from literary executors Irving Shepard and I. Milo Shepard over many years. Further material has been acquired from other sources; the provenance of these items is noted on the individual folders.
