Fisher is resting his right forearm on a cloth-draped side table and his left hand on his left thigh. He has a neatly trimmed mustache and a wide goatee that reaches the bottom of his collar. "Geo. Stotler's Old Portrait Gallery, Johnstown, Pa." is stamped in black on the verso.
