This collection contains eight personal photograph albums of young men and women on Sierra Club trips, primarily in Yosemite, the High Sierras, and King's Canyon, California. The albums date from 1904 to 1919, with one dated 1933, and bear the names of A. E. Neuenburg and Violet Ehrman (in later albums, "Mrs. A. E. Neuenburg"). Images include people mountain hiking, fishing, swimming in lakes, camping, and having outdoor picnics and tea parties. There are many images of women throughout, seen individually and in outdoor activities.

A formal portrait of John Barnes Miller, Edison President and Chairman. He was president from 1909-1918, when he became Chairman. He served as Chairman from 1918 until 1920 when the position was discontinued. He resumed the presidency in 1920 until 1928 when he once again became Chairman, and he served in that position until 1932, when he passed away. Pg. 250 (2nd edition only).

A collection of 10 family photograph albums, 1908-1924, chiefly of trips to tourist sites and national parks in the Western United States, depicting travel by car, mountain camping, natural scenery, and hiking. Little is known about the Bell family, but most of the snapshots have captions identifying locations and dates. One album says photographs by J. O. Downing, and there is a postcard album with postcards sent from all over the country, approximately 1910s. Album contents: Vol. 1. Sierra Club trip, Glacier National Park, 1924 -- Vol. 2.
