Microfilm of the autobiography of William Ellis Jones, covering his experiences from childhood through 1896. The first few frames contains notes for ditches for the West Field Canal Co. (appear to be part of Walter S. Tolton, MFILM 00056). The autobiography describes Jones's childhood and family history, his early interest in religion and conversion from Methodism to Mormonism, his arrival in Nauvoo, his experiences in Council Bluffs, his move to St. Joseph in 1855, living in Nebraska in 1856, traveling to Utah in 1861, living near Clover Canyon and Bear Canyon, living in Santa Clara and St. George, teaching school in Hebron and Santa Clara, a list of names of baptisms and endowments (1887), and genealogy notes.

Microfilm of the autobiography of William Coe Critchlow, written in about 1890. The account includes Critchlow's family history and genealogy and notes on his injury on the Pennsylvania canal, his conversion to Mormonism, his move to Nauvoo, and the death of Joseph Smith. Also includes some account notes for 1893-1894 and various family notes.

Microfilm of the autobiography of Charles Hopkins Allen, written sometime after 1916. The volume includes brief accounts of Allen's family history, their conversion to Mormonism and move to Springfield, Illinois, a visit to Carthage after the death of Joseph Smith, life in Nauvoo and Kanesville, their journey to Utah, Allen's missions at Blacksmith Fork and San Bernardino, his move to Arizona, and an Allen family reunion in Utah in 1898.

Autobiography of Sarah D. Pea Rich [microform] : 1893

Microfilm of a typescript of Sarah D. Pea Rich's autobiography, copied at the Church Historian's Office by A.M. Rich in 1933. Includes a brief forward by Sarah Rich dated 1885 (the autobiography was finished in 1893). It begins with stories about Sarah's family history and her childhood in Illinois and Tennessee, and goes on to describe her family's conversion to Mormonism in 1835, of her first meeting with Charles C. Rich, experiences during her early years of marriage, mob violence against Mormons in Missouri, living in Nauvoo, her positive reminiscences on polygamy, the family's 1847 travels to Iowa, living in Mount Pisgah, traveling overland to Utah, and life in Utah during her husband's seven year mission to California. Also includes some genealogy.

Autobiography and diary of William Athol McMaster [microform]: 1854-1887

Microfilm of an autobiography and diary by William Athol McMaster. The autobiography recounts McMaster's life through 1854, including his early years in Scotland, conversion to Mormonism, proselytizing work in Scotland, voyage from Liverpool to New Orleans, and his overland travels to Utah. McMaster describes facing hardships during the journey, and while traveling to Utah endured illnesses, supply issues, and the death of one of his sons. The autobiography is followed by some miscellaneous notes dated 1855-1857, as well as a diary volume describing McMaster's life in Utah from 1882-1886. The diary volume also contains excerpts from "Brigham Young's Important Discourse on Priesthood," dated 1877.
