Entrance pavilion foundation with Hertrich and Townsend

Early stages of construction on the entrance pavilion to the San Marino ranch. MS note on verso reads "William Hertrich and Ronald Townsend examining plans for new entrance pavilion, Huntington library." Stamp on the back gives permission to the San Marino Tribune to publish this print. William Hertrich was Superintendent of Botanical from 1927 to 1949.
