On f. i is the note "ex libris joannis baptistae de mydorge," possibly written by the same person who filled the 3 back flyleaves with birth notices of Monsieur Mydorge, sieur de Fretay, of his wife, Marie le Bossu, the date of their marriage and the birth and baptism (at the "fons de St. Paul de Paris") of their 12 children, with dates from 1511 to 1561. Monsieur Mydorge, in listing his children's godparents includes his mother, Catherine Asselin, presumably of the well-known family originating in Rouen. Other names on these leaves place Monsieur Mydorge in the upper administrative echelons of his time, Olivier, Brette, Bochetel, Abra de Raconis, Bourdin, Rapoël, Bragelongne.
