Manuscripts
Manuscript map depicting the Gaspé Bay and Cape, with ship soundings given for approach into the harbor and two drawings of landfall on either side. Executed approximately 1757, it appears to have been drawn up by the British forces while Gaspé was in French possession during the French and Indian War. The map has been attributed to Charles Rohr, an engineer with the British Forces.
