The verso of all six maps are identical, except for the name and location of the state parks depicted. Estimated dates for this group based on rail roads that appear on the maps, some of which had a limited tenure; the San Joaquin and Eastern Rail Road (on map ephMPCALIF0184) was constructed in 1912 (Fickewirth, page 131), and the Boca Loyalton Rail Road (on map ephMPCALIF0187) was abandoned in 1916 (Fickewirth, page 17).
