No old shelf mark. Intended as a wall map, but folded, with street index in the surround, this map suffers from Thomas Bros. penchant for not dating their maps. Based on phone directories of San Francisco and Oakland, this was probably made in the mid to late 1920s, as the Thomas Brothers were only at the Samsone address for a brief time; this does not contradict internal evidence, since the latest building depicted is City Hall, which was constructed in 1926 (Stockton memories, R.
