Kashnor notes: "An exceedingly rare map locating as far up the Hudson River as New Albanie; locates Fort Elsinborough on the Delaware, and takes in the coast from Cape Henry to Boston." McCorkle states this is a later state of Lea's 1680 map, which the British Library says is from 1686, similar to Kashnor's dating. Kashnor dates as ca. 1686. Manuscript map by Charles Rivez, showing the boundaries between the provinces of New York and New Jersey. The Hudson and Mohawk rivers are well defined, and the forts, towns and settlements along them are depicted. Lake George and the territory to the north of Ticonderoga are shown, and the settlements, towns and roads of New Jersey are shown through the northern part of Burlington county.

Kashnor notes, "This is an unrecorded issue of Lewis Evans' famous map. According to Stevens in his monograph on Lewis Evans, this is the eighteenth issue, but in this the words Province of Quebec still extend from below the Wabash, whereas in the issues noted by him the words "Province of" have been deleted." "viz. Virginia, Maryland, the Delaware-Counties, Pennsylvania, New Jersey &c. with the Addition of New York, & of the Greatest Part of New England &c. as also of the Bordering Parts of the British Possessions in Canada." Beneath vignette: "To the Right Honourable George Dunk Earl of Halifax First Lord Commissioner, and to the Rest of the Right Honourable and Honourable Commissioners for Trade and Plantations. This Map is most humbly Inscribed to their Lordships, By their Lordship's Most Obedient and most devoted humble Servt. Thos. Jefferys." The only published mention of the Litho-Photographic Institute in London is in The journal of the Royal Geographic Society of London, volume 38, May 11, 1868, page 190.
