This is a general reference map and has not been prepared for purposes of distance or area measurement. Though the linear scale on this projection varies with the latitude, great circle distances may be obtained from the Great-Circle Diagram printed on the reverse side of this map..." (Israel also does not yet exist on this map.) Prime meridian: GM. Relief: color. Projection: Cylindrical. Printing Process: Lithography.
