La Pintoresca Hotel, Pasadena, Cal

This hotel was formerly the Painter Hotel, and was built in 1887 at the corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Washington Boulevard, Pasadena. The name was changed to La Pintoresca Hotel around 1891 (see notes). This view shows the front facing onto Fair Oaks Avenue, with palm trees at the sidewalk and foliage around the porch.
