Kashnor notes, "Shows California as an island, with the Straits of Annian, at which the coastline terminates stits northern extremity." McLaughlin identifies this as a copy of Henry Seile's 1652 map done by his widow Anne in 1663, with some changes. Note Cape Mendocino is shown below islands St. Clement & Catalina.
