Kashnor notes, "An interesting map which does not give any of the Hudson's Bay Co. forts, but locates the French fort below Nelson River, the post of St. Duluth built to intercept the Assinopels on their journey to the Bay, and the fort of St. Germain built on Albany River for the same purpose. McCorkle confirms map as by Kitchin, first edition. See also 093:515M for another copy. Kashnor implies the map is by Jean Palarait, but McCorkle explains that map to be a later copy of the Kitchin map.
