There is a heavy wooden table in the center of the carpet with three glass or crystal vases on top. A mirror is mounted on the wall above a three-legged table with a marble top, flanked on either side by a dark chair with light upholstery and large windows covered with plain curtains. There is a small narrow table against the wall on the right. White wooden paneling covers the lower half of the walls and a decorative palm-patterned wallpaper is on the upper half. Portraits and a print are hung in frames along the walls, including what seems to be a sketch of General George S. Patton, Jr. as a younger man.

There is a large, paisley patterned carpet on the wooden floor, wood paneling along the walls, and a geometrically patterned ceiling. There is a low, floral-patterned sofa on the left, a black leather armchair, and a dark-colored velvet armchair, as well as a long narrow end table with a lamp, framed portraits, and flowers on top. The lower two-thirds of the walls are lined with bookcases, and there is a landscape painting hanging above the bookcase in the center. There are family photographs and knickknacks along the top of the bookcases. A pair of swords are mounted on the wall on the right, behind a portrait of a soldier, probably the first George Smith Patton, a Confederate Colonel who died during the Civil War.

    A view of General George Smith Patton, Junior's office in the family house in San Marino. There is a low table in the center of the room covered with books, bowls, some papers, a bottle, and a lamp, and a desk with several drawers and niches against the wall just left of center. Three large safes are against the wall just right of center, with a tall wooden filing cabinet just to the right of them. There is a fireplace on the far left, two windows with curtains set in the walls, and three additional chairs scattered around the room. The walls are unfinished, and an unadorned light bulb is mounted in the center of the ceiling.
