Subjects include: Bagdikian's view that newspapers owned by big conglomerates tend to write news based on the wishes of the conglomerate -- Otis Chandler refuted that as far as Times Mirror went, indicating that the writers and editors are free to report as they see fit ; Halberstam gives his impressions of Otis--"by Chandler standards a liberal...
