Description
Black and white portrait of six children posed under a large tree, with overhanging branches and fence in background. Two of the girls are grandchildren of Harrison Gray Otis; Marion and Arnie, daughters of Lilian (Otis) McPherron, sister of Marian Otis Chandler. Other four children are members of the Neer family, friends of the McPherrons. From left to right, in foreground, Marion McPherron, Ethel Christine Neer (later McAdam), Arnie McPherron, Florence Helen Neer, Annie Natalie Neer (later McDade). Behind them is Francis Edwards Neer, holding on to Carlo, the dog. Another smaller dog named Whiskers can be partially seen between Ethel and Arnie. Text accompanying photo states that photo was taken at the ranch home of the Nathan Angus Neer family on property that is the site of what is today, Universal Studios Hollywood.
