    Manuscripts

    Glass plate with a view of a horse-drawn parade float in an unknown location. There are two men in white outfits, each standing next to a pair horses that is draped in white with feathery horns behind their ears. Two young men, one in an army uniform, one in a navy uniform, are seated on the white float, holding a rifle, which they have crossed in front of a woman or statue of a woman draped in the American flag. There are children with bicycles on the side of the tree-lined street and a car partially blocked by the float.
