The background includes an image of the International Stock Food Farm, part of the International Stock Food Co. owned by Marion Savage. Savage purchased Dan Patch and used the horse's racing record as way to promote his livestock feed business. Left of print includes text describing Dan Patch's racing experiences from when he was four years of age to seven years of age.
