Besides the front gate, the only part of the studio that can be seen past the tall studio walls is the backsides of building facades. There is a large parking lot outside the studio which is full, and more automobiles line the streets in the foreground. Outside of the gate there is a billboard announcing "Cavalcade ; The Picture of the generation". On the left there is a golf area, possibly for putting and pitching practice, and beyond that there are several oil wells. Train tracks run across the width of the image in the foreground.
