Finn Slaughter's Place, Fuquey [i.e. Fuqua] Ranch

Description: Two men are seen leaning against a porch post of a house, and a man, woman and two children are seated behind them, in front of the house. The house is identified as "Finn Slaughter's" which is most likely a reference to Fenton Slaughter. "Fuqua ranch" is most likely a reference to Reverend Isham Fuqua (see notes, below), who had a farm near present-day Chino, in San Bernardino County, California.

Parson Fuquey [i.e. Parson Fuqua] Ranch House

A man is seen leaning against a porch post of a house identified as "Parson Fuquey's" house. This is most likely a reference to Reverend Isham Fuqua (see notes, below), who had a farm near present-day Chino, in San Bernardino County, California.

Shorb house, San Marino Ranch, after 1888

A view of the very large four-story Shorb house on the San Marino Ranch. The house is light, with a dark roof and accents, and has a large wraparound porch. James De Barth Shorb is sitting on the steps to the porch with a young woman who is probably one of his daughters, while two boys, probably his sons, stand on the path in front of the steps. There is a horse and buggy, with two men sitting on the buggy, on the left.

A view of the very large four-story Shorb house on the San Marino Ranch. The house is light, with a brick chimney on the right, and a large porch. James De Barth Shorb is sitting next to the steps to the porch. An older woman, probably his wife, is sitting on the other side of the steps, between a young daughter and son (both look like they're between seven and twelve). Two young woman, probably also daughters, are on the steps, and one child of indeterminate sex, around four to six, is on the steps between them.
