Proposed lease of the Ameca & San Marcos Branches from NRM. Note -- This file includes some correspondence, beginning in 1923, on providing terminal facilities for SPM in Guadalajara." Includes fairly detailed discussion on the eve of the Revolution about line operation; proposed agreements with NRM re: sharing trackage; etc. Example: ciphered telegram from Julius Kruttschnitt to Col. Epes Randolph, 6/30/10, that "you should be prepared at almost any time to receive instructions to indefinitely abandon construction work in Mexico" [in light of discussion with NRM about division of freight rates], etc. Includes a number of contracts and proposed agreements, detailed discussion of those agreements.
