Series 4. Financial Records

This series contains Southern California Edison's financial records and includes bank books, budgets, checks, ledgers, statements, receipts, reports, and other materials. Many of the items are bound. Included are cost reports for various steam stations and transmission lines ranging in date from 1928 to 1971 and financial statements and auditors' reports from Arthur Anderson & Co.- CPA's. The series also contains information related to stock, ranging in date from 1916 to 1945. Of historical note is a 1917 stock certificate issued to Henry E. Huntington for 115,299 shares. Another significant portion of the series is comprised of valuations pertaining to appraisals of Edison equipment and property.
