A collection of manuscripts, photocopies and a photo album related to Ernest J. Waddell and his life. The collection contains various chapters from Waddell's autobiography entitled: "Ernest Remembers His Youth;" the chapters include autograph, typewritten, and photocopied sections. It is not clear if any of the autograph sections were written by Waddell or were written, typed and copied later by a family member. The chapters include growing up in Nebraska, gold mining in the Klondike, and shipping live cattle from Boston to Liverpool, England. The photo album is embossed "W H" on the cover and contains family photographs from trips to Yosemite, Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Florida, Ireland, Scotland, England, and Norway.
