Besterman Medal citation awarded to William A. Ringler
- Description
- A collection of approximately 10,000 items from 1929 to 1986, it consists of William A. Ringler's professional correspondence and research notes. The collection includes bibliographies, various indices, including first line indices of English verse, lectures, research notes and microfilm of manuscripts from other research libraries. The material was originally stored in multiple metal filing cabinets and card files; after Ringler's death, this material was removed to storage cartons and various other storage boxes and Ringler's original order was retained, where possible.
