The correspondence in the collection includes both professional and personal letters written to editors, agents, work colleagues, friends, and fans. There is also one letter written to Margaret Millar in 1945 while Kenneth Millar was serving at sea during the Second World War. The letters include both originals and drafts, either autograph or author's retained typewritten copies; all the letters are written by Kenneth Millar, unless otherwise noted. Of the letters that are signed, the majority are signed Ken or Kenneth Millar.
