    A group of 24 copy prints of events in around downtown Los Angeles. Many of the images are related to the Chinese-American communities efforts in raising funds for the war effort in China during the Second World War. There are images of parades, the Moon Festival, and of Madame Chiang Kai-shek (Soong Mei-ling) and her visit to Los Angeles in 1943.

Includes clippings, poll tax receipts, business directories and pamphlets, and publicity about Chinese New Year celebrations from 1960s. Also includes photos of Old Chinatown, including Ferguson Alley.
