Seven pieces of correspondence. Five pieces, consisting of letters, a memo and a clipping, are in regards to the Los Angeles Edition of the New York Times. The sixth piece is a thank you letter from Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, President and Publisher of the New York Times, regarding the Los Angeles Times' support of the New York Times by joining the amicus brief in the Myron Farber case. The seventh piece is a letter from Gladwin Hil [Chief of the New York Times' Los Angeles Bureau] to Otis Chandler mostly regarding the rudeness of a Los Angeles Times employee, Del Taylor. Also in this folder is a clipping from the New York Times entitled "New York Times report to readers."
