Also in this folder is the envelope in which the letter came in, a handwritten note from Norman Brant Chandler to Otis Chandler regarding asking Freddie about a catalog, and eight pages of instruction on maintenance of the house, children, pets and the servants.

Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Fourth Annual Institutional Investor Conference on March 18, 1971. These copies are printed leaflets. Other items in this folder include a copy of a newspaper article; a thank you letter from Heidi Fiske, Director of Conference Programming at Institutional Investor Systems, Inc.; a letter from Richard F. Colabella, Conference Director of Fourth Annual Institutional Investor Conference, in which he invites Chandler to the Conference Exposition Center; a note from Sandy Hewitt to Freddie Miller informing Miller that 2,500 copies of the speech have been mailed out; a letter from Heidi Fiske in which she forwards Chandler the speaker information materials; six items which included a note from Freddie Miller; a letter from Edwin Gill of Cogan, Berlind, Weill & Levitt, Inc. which he informs Chandler that he [Gill] has been selected as chair for the publishing industry panel, pages one and two of the speaker information materials, a copy of the speech, and a copy of the program; pages three and seven through twelve.

Three copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler before the Management Conference on June 25, 1974. One of the copies has charts and reports attached to it. Other items in this folder include a bulletin announcing the Management Conference Officers; a fax copy of a press release regarding the Supreme Court decision to not allow candidates the right to free reply space in newspapers in which they were criticized; a newspaper clipping of an article entitled "For Press and Public, a Time to Think" by William Sexton; two pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and Kenneth J. Thompson, Vice President, Los Angeles Times/Times Mirror Press, in which Thompson invites Chandler to be speaker and Chandler response by accepting the invitation.
