5 items: LAT editorials and news stories from July and August of 1923, on his final tour of Alaska and the Pacific coast, his sudden illness and death in San Francisco. The front page headline for 8/3/1923 has been copied - "Harding's death stuns nation...President Coolidge sworn in."
