The folder contains speech manuscripts for remarks delivered at Bowdoin College, the Federal Bar Assn., The Buckley School, a speech about the Watts Riots (1965), remarks given at a panel discussion in Nashville, speeches at the Wilshire Bar Assn., Historical Society of Southern California, a short speech titled "A Five-minute History of the Los Angeles Times," etc. There are also several news clippings related to talks by Bassett.
