Description

Approx. 20 items: memos, letters and reports on the operation of METPRO (Minority Editorial Training program) at LAT. This program was instituted to facilitate the entry of minority and women staffers into the newspaper industry. Trainees participated in a one-year internship with the paper. Also included in a black binder: 94-pp. report, "The Earthquake Plan for the Los Angeles Times - Metropolitan (3/1986).
