    Two copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on Tuesday, January 24, 1967. One of the copies has red markings. Also included in this folder is an agenda; a memo from Otis Chandler regarding the reception; a list of to whom the memo is to be sent to; another copy of the memo, however this one is addressed to Rex Barley and has a note from Otis Chandler attached to it. Chandler is informing Barley that he is aware that he will not be attending the reception, but he is still passing this memo along for the information of his employees.

    Two copies of a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on Tuesday, June 14, 1966. One of the copies has handwritten notes. Also included in this folder is a note from Robert L. Flannes attached to a page recapping the attendance of the reception; a copy of the agenda; a memo from Bob Groundwater to Otis Chandler regarding information regarding attendees that Chandler requested; a memo from Otis Chandler to Otis Booth regarding the details of the reception; and a memo from Rex Barley to Freddie Miller informing Miller he will be out of town for the reception.

    Three pieces of correspondence pertaining to a speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on February 14, 1978. The first item is a note attached to the second item, a memo. The memo is from Freddie Miller and she refers to the memo attached which she sent out over Chandler's name. The third item is a memo sent from Bob Groundwater to Freddie Miller which is a list seating list for the executives.

Also in this folder is a note from Bob Groundwater to Dan [Moore], in regards to a draft of a memo that is going out to Otis Chandler and his executive family; a copy of the reception's schedule; and a list of names that Otis Chandler's memo should be distributed to.

    Five copies of the speech given by Otis Chandler at the Publisher's Reception for New Employees on Tuesday, September 24, 1968. They are all in different formats and one is actually only a paragraph from the speech. Also in this folder is a two page copy of the speech given at the November 7, 1967 Publisher's Reception. It's attached to two identical memos, that are addressed to Dan Moore and Vance Stickell; a two page list of the number of invitations sent out, number that accepted and the number that actually attended from each department; an outline of the program sequence, its all marked up with red ink; three notes; and an eight page transcript of the slide cues from the presentation.

Reap to Richard S. Robinson, possible new and different approaches with the presentation. Attached to this memo is a note from Richard S. Robinson to Otis Chandler, providing a summary of the memo.
