Material related to a acceptance speech given by Otis Chandler at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism's Journalism Day Luncheon on June 5, 1967. He was presented with the Columbia Journalism Award. Items in this folder are two copies of a press release put out by Columbia University's News Office about the award; two items of correspondence between Grayson Kirk,President, Columbia University, and Otis Chandler; two items of correspondence, one a letter and the other a newspaper clipping with a message typed on it, between Arthur S. Wenzel and Otis Chandler, Otis Chandler thanks Arthur S. Wenzel for congratulating him on the award; four congratulatory letters to Otis Chandler with a note attached stating that although the letters aren't initialed, they have been read; a letter from Edward W. Barrett, Dean, Columbia University, regarding some of the remarks Otis Chandler made and also to forward him a copy of the citation; a letter from Otis Chandler to Edward W. Barrett, thanking him for the award; a leaflet from the American Newspaper Publishers Association mentioning the award; a newspaper clipping from Oakland's Tribune; a one page fact sheet on Columbia University; a copy of a telegram from Edward W.
