He was presented with the Columbia Journalism Award. Items in this folder are two copies of a press release put out by Columbia University's News Office about the award; two items of correspondence between Grayson Kirk,President, Columbia University, and Otis Chandler; two items of correspondence, one a letter and the other a newspaper clipping with a message typed on it, between Arthur S. Wenzel and Otis Chandler, Otis Chandler thanks Arthur S. Wenzel for congratulating him on the award; four congratulatory letters to Otis Chandler with a note attached stating that although the letters aren't initialed, they have been read; a letter from Edward W. Barrett, Dean, Columbia University, regarding some of the remarks Otis Chandler made and also to forward him a copy of the citation; a letter from Otis Chandler to Edward W.
