Description

Approx. 20 items: clips and copies of articles from LAT, other newspapers and Time (mag) related to "cold war" civil defense concerns of the 1950s and 1960s. Many of the articles are clustered in the year 1961, during which interest in both public and private fallout (bomb) shelters seemed to have reached a peak.
