His departure, however, is NOT the result of any disagreement between him and this newspaper," and closes "The Times wishes Mr. Pegler well (the complete notice runs approx. 400 words of explanation). Pegler's attitudes were considered by some to be right-wing, even to the degree that he sympathized with Nazism.
