Also, one tear sheet copy of Time (mag.) article titled "Enterprise in Los Angeles," on LAT coverage of Watts riots, the resulting Pulitzer, Otis Chandler and the philosophical evolution of LAT. Attached to the Time article is a humorous note, hand-written by Otis Chandler. 7 items. Two tear sheets of Newsweek article, "How to Build an Empire" (1/2/1967) about LAT and the Chandlers--attached is color cover photo of Otis Chandler. One tear sheet and two photocopies of Saturday Review article (9/23/1967), "New Winds in the South, New Splash in the North, in part, about LAT. 4 items. Photocopy of chapter titled "The Times: Los Angeles and New York," from The Elite Press by John C. Merrill, 1968.
