Description

15+ items: letters, meeting minutes, article copies and other material related to creation of the "Secretary's Report" for the Pulitzer Prizes during 1985. David Laventhol's (Publisher of Newsday, later LAT) name appears on several letters as he was a member of Pulitzer committees in the time frame. Included is a copy of a multipage essay by Leonard Levy on the experience of winning a Pulitzer Prize.
