Approx. 25 items: the bulk of the material is correspondence between William Thomas and various FBI agents connected to the L.A. office of the FBI during the late 1970s. Two earlier letters, stapled to later material are of interest. One, dated 9/28/1966, was a US Government memo about Thomas having given a speech critical of the FBI. The other, dated 10/5/1966, was to J. Edgar Hoover, FBI Director, also critical of Thomas' speech.

I'm arriving later and leaving earlier, but I'm here oftener than I anticipated"; (9/22) NBW letter to the Social Security Administration, which provided information to document his reaching retirement age; (10/20) letter of appreciation to L.A. Councilman Edmund Edelman; many replies to letters of congratulations at the time of NBW retirement (to Bishop Gerald Kennedy, President Richard Nixon, Herbert Klein, White House Comm. Dir., others); etc.
