Description

Approx. 12 items: a collection of operational (and some financial) historical information on LAT and TM. Many items are a portion of one sheet, odds and ends cobbled together over the decades, but several are more substantial. Among these: two speech transcripts, one from 1953, the other from 1954; 10-pp. "History...("approx. 1957" is written in at top) - may have been given as slide show, i.e. "Here is a blown-up photo of the first issue of The Times"; two-sheet copy of handwritten note from Otis Chandler to Robert ("Bob") Erburu, stapled on top of 16-pp. speech transcript that Mr. Erburu delivered in 1976 before the Assn of American Publishers, "Why diversify - a retrospective"; 29-pp. video script, "Welcome to Times Mirror," dated 1/28/1988; flyer, 1991, for "Robert F. Erburu's 30th Anniversary with Times Mirror -- August 21, 1991," with facts and figures related to the 30 yr. period; 15-pp. "Times Mirror - Chronology: 1959 - 1992."
