Folder contains one item--a 28 pp. typed transcript of an interview with James Bassett, 12/18/1972. The only indication of the interviewer's identity is the phrase "Hart Interview" written on the folder. Bassett is asked about his work with Nixon, editorial policy, and about the personalities of high-ranking Times people he had worked with. There are a number of comments regarding the location on the political map of Times publishers and editors Bassett knew between the 1930s and the 1970s.
