Boswell, James Files

James Boswell was director of Human Resources at Times Mirror during the 1980s. His files are in four sub-series. The first, chronological files, consists of correspondence and other materials arranged chronologically by month and date. The second, correspondence, consists of memoranda and notes arranged by person, including correspondence to and from James Boswell. There may be some duplication with items in the Chronological Files. The third sub-series, speeches, is organized alphabetically by group, then alphabetically by speech. It includes drafts, final copies with slide cues, and correspondence related to the group or the speech itself. The final sub-series, subject files, is organized alphabetically by subject. Subjects include the Pfaffinger Foundation, unions, budgets, and organizations. Date range is 1985-1991.
