McCulloch was on the Bee staff at the time.

    Ten pieces of correspondence between Otis Chandler and employees of Newsday. The first set of letters are congratulatory and thank you letters between Otis Chandler and Tom Darcy, Newsday's political cartoonist, regarding Darcy's award for best cartoon from the Overseas Press Club, and Paul Conrad's recent Pulitzer. The second set of letters are correspondence between William (Bill) Attwood, Newsday's President and Publisher, and Otis Chandler, regarding syndication. The last set of letters are correspondence between Otis Chandler, Nick Thimmesch [Los Angeles Times Syndicate Columnist], Freddie [Frederica] Miller [Otis Chandler's Secretary], and Dave Laventhol [Newsday's Editor], which included a copy of the syndicate agreement between Nick Thimmesch and Newsday.
